MAG's pipeline was built around catalogue-driven grading, so a Pokémon submission gets three things most general graders don't:
Match to the catalog at submission
When you add a Pokémon card, you match it to an entry in MAG's in-house Pokémon card catalog. That link is what keeps the population report and the certificate clean — no guesswork about which printing you sent.
Each card carries its own category
Every card is recorded with its own game category, so a Pokémon card is always logged as Pokémon even inside a mixed submission. The catalog match, per-card category and language all travel with the card through grading.
A population report per printing
Population is counted by name, set, year, number, game and language — so a Japanese printing is counted separately from its English equivalent. Each card's certificate reflects the population of that exact printing.
Pricing
MAG charges a RM79 grading fee per card, plus a separate 4% platform fee on the grading subtotal. One card totals RM82.16 (RM79.00 grading + RM3.16 platform fee), shown before payment; return shipping is billed separately. The same flat grading fee applies whether you send one card or a full binder.
The grade MAG gives your card
MAG grading is human-only: every grade is assigned by a trained human grader. MAG uses 10 whole grades, from 10 down to 1, with no half-point increments and no zero grade. Each card is assessed across four whole subgrades: Centering, Corners, Edges, and Surface. The final grade is their geometric mean, rounded to the nearest whole number.

The display format is MAG n · TERM. The 1–10 scale is aligned 1-to-1 with PSA and CGC as a CONDITION scale: MAG n reads as PSA n. This is scale alignment, NOT a claim of equal resale or market value. Full criteria are documented on the grading standards page.
Turnaround
3–4 weeks from when we receive and log your submission. That is a service target to plan around, not a promise that every submission will finish on a particular day. The clock starts when cards are received and logged, so submit close to a collection window you can plan around.
Where to drop off your cards
Drop cards at our collection partner in Kinrara, Puchong, or hand them over directly at a roadshow event. You can also post them with the packing slip included. Return is in person or by shipping, billed separately.
Verification a buyer can use
Every MAG grade gets a public certificate page at /card/cert/ with population data per printing. A buyer can open the certificate from its number or QR code and check the grade in one click before relying on a listing or purchase. It is a record of MAG's issued grade and population, not a promise about future price.

Can you grade Japanese Pokémon cards?
Yes. Japanese cards are fully supported — each card carries a language field, so a Japanese printing is recorded and counted as its own printing for the population report.
Do you cover thick or vintage Pokémon cards?
Yes. MAG's human graders assess each card across centering, corners, edges and surface regardless of thickness, era or printing. Thick, vintage and modern Pokémon cards are all accepted.
Does a MAG number equal PSA or CGC value?
No. MAG grades align 1-to-1 with PSA and CGC as a condition scale — MAG 7 reads as PSA 7 — but that alignment is not a claim of equal resale or market value.
