About MAG Grading

Built by collectors,
for collectors.

MAG Grading was founded in Kuala Lumpur by collectors who felt the hobby deserved better. Sending cards abroad meant months of waiting, opaque pricing, and no way to understand why a card received the grade it did. We thought that was wrong.

We built MAG to offer what wasn't available locally: consistent standards, transparent subgrades, flat-rate pricing, and a turnaround that respects your time. No value-based tiers. No arbitrary upcharges. The same standard for every card we touch.

We started taking submissions in 2026. Every card we grade is documented, insured, and returned with four subgrades that show exactly how we arrived at the final score.

"Every card graded to the same standard.
No exceptions."

The technology

How MAGi works

Every card that arrives at our facility is first scanned by MAGi, our AI grading assistant built on the Ximilar vision model. MAGi provides an initial condition read on all four subgrades.

A trained human grader then reviews MAGi's assessment against the card in hand. The human grader has final say. MAGi's role is to ensure consistency and catch what eyes might miss after a long session.

The result is a grade backed by both machine precision and human judgment.

Every card gets

  • Centering subgrade
  • Corners subgrade
  • Edges subgrade
  • Surface subgrade
  • AI pre-screen
  • Human grader sign-off
  • High-res imaging
  • Pop report entry

We're exhibiting at Card Mania 2026 at Stadium MPAJ Melawati, Ampang (22–24 May). Walk-in submissions will be open at the event.

After Card Mania, MAG opens for regular paying submissions — online and walk-in. We're building toward serving collectors across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
