How can we help?
Packing guide, common questions, and direct contact.
Packing guide
Sleeve & semi-rigid holder
Penny sleeve each card, then insert into a Card Saver I or II. Avoid top loaders — they allow movement.
Sandwich & secure
Stack your sleeved cards and sandwich them between two pieces of cardboard. Secure with rubber bands or painter's tape.
Box & drop off
Place the sandwich in a sturdy box with bubble wrap or packing paper, then drop it off at our collection partner. Do not use bubble mailers for high-value submissions.
Frequently asked
What is the turnaround time?+
Our standard turnaround is 3–4 weeks from the date we receive and log your submission at our collection partner. This does not include return shipping time.
Do you grade thick cards?+
Yes, we grade cards up to 130pt thickness, including most patch and relic cards. Excessively thick cards may require a custom slab.
Is the pricing fixed?+
Yes. The RM 79 grading fee is the same for all cards, regardless of value. A separate 4% platform fee applies to the grading subtotal; there are no value-based price increases.
Do you grade autographs?+
We grade card condition and authenticate manufacturer-issued autographs. We do not authenticate after-market (IP) autographs at this time.
Where do I drop off my cards?+
See maggrading.com/events for the current roadshow schedule. You can also submit online and securely pack your cards with your packing slip for drop-off at our collection partner in Kinrara, Puchong — email support@maggrading.com to arrange a time.
Can I cancel and get a refund?+
Yes — if you cancel before grading starts, we refund the grading subtotal through Stripe. The separate 4% platform fee is non-refundable and retained by MAG. Once grading has started, neither amount is refundable. See our Refund Policy for details.
Do you accept submissions from outside Malaysia?+
Cards must reach us in Malaysia — drop-off or domestic post. For the return leg we can ship overseas: international return shipping is available at your cost, charged separately from the grading and platform fees. Fuller regional support for Southeast Asia is planned.
What exactly happens to my card after I drop it off?+
Every card follows the same documented path: received and logged at our collection point, unboxed under surveillance and researched, graded by a trained human grader across centering, corners, edges and surface, imaged in high-res, sonically sealed in a UV-resistant slab, quality-checked, then returned to you in person or by shipping. You can track the status any time with your submission number.
Are my cards graded by people or by AI?+
By people. Every MAG grade is assigned by a trained human grader, who scores four whole-number subgrades — centering, corners, edges and surface — with the geometric mean setting the overall grade. A separate quality-assurance review checks the result before the card is sealed.
How do I declare my card's value, and why does it matter?+
You enter a declared value for each card at submission. It is used for handling and identification, and under our liability policy it also sets the most MAG will pay if that card is lost or damaged in our care. It is not insurance or an appraisal. Declare a value you can support — under-declaring lowers the most you could recover.
What happens if my card is lost or damaged while in MAG's care?+
Cards are unboxed under surveillance, logged and photographed on arrival, but no process can rule out loss or damage entirely. If a card is lost or physically damaged while it is in MAG's care, MAG will compensate you up to the value you declared for that card — for a total loss, the lower of the documented loss and your declared value; for damage, reasonable repair cost or the proven reduction in value, up to the same declared-value cap. This is a liability policy, not insurance, and it does not guarantee any resale price. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Are my cards insured while shipping to MAG and on the way back?+
Getting your cards to us is your responsibility — use a tracked, insured service, because MAG's responsibility begins only when your cards are received and logged at our collection point. Return shipping is a separate carrier service billed separately; if a return parcel is lost or damaged after handover, tell both the carrier and MAG promptly and we will share the packing, handover and tracking records we hold.
How do I report a damaged or missing card, and by when?+
Contact support@maggrading.com as soon as you notice a problem, with your submission number, the card details and any photos. Keep the outer packaging, labels and tracking. We will review our intake photos, logs and surveillance records. Reporting promptly helps us investigate while the evidence is still available.
